They vary from small secluded coves, through family beaches with all amenities and backed by sheer cliffs, to endless, wide expanses of golden sand. For beginners or experts Newquay offers a fresh and exhilarating learning experience.

Newquay is a totally rad fun place, so you want to be prepared for everything. Newquay is regularly featured in documentaries and TV shows due to it’s popularity, especially with the young crowd of party-goers.

Newquay is a regional centre for aerospace industries, and a future spaceport on the North Atlantic coast of Cornwall.

Party Town

Dress to impress when you go to town at night. Newquay's nightlife is great, and it is very easy to make new friends. There are bars and night clubs for everyone who likes to party all day and all night.

Shopping

It will take at least one day to check out the local surf shops for all the boards, wetsuits and sun protective swimwear. Find all the exciting new gear in shops, boutiques and the local supermarkets along the main high street.

By Train

The traditional way to travel to Newquay is by rail to avoid the summer traffic jams. During the summer there are fast, direct services to Newquay from London Paddington, the Midlands, the North and Scotland.

The train station is situated above the Great Western Beach next to the police station, just east of the town centre.

By Car

Squeeze everything into your car or rent a van and head down south with your friends. Once past Exeter, head west on the A30 for an hour and a half. Then take the exit towards Newquay. Easy.
